I enjoy solving visual problems in creative and efficient ways through graphic design, while using photography to capture the personality and spirit of my subjects. My work combines creativity, technical problem-solving, photography, design, and web development to produce effective visual communications across print and digital platforms.

Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Acrobat, as well as PowerPoint, Excel/Google Sheets, WordPress, Visual Studio Code, browser development tools, and command-line utilities.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Design and produce themed graphics for internal projects, programs, and events.

• Photograph professional headshots, events, and organizational activities.
• Create photo collages, carousels, and other visual content for digital signage and social media.
• Post-process and retouch images, optimize graphics, and convert assets to appropriate dimensions, aspect ratios, and file formats.
• Generate and incorporate QR codes into print and digital materials as needed.
• Design certificates, name tags, name placards, sponsor table tents, and large-format signage.
• Create and assemble digital PDF booklets and other multi-page materials.
• Merge, manipulate, and extract data from spreadsheets and MySQL databases for integration into graphics and other materials.
• Maintain and update website content and digital signage, including replacing expired or outdated materials.
• Digitize, restore, repair, and optimize sponsor images, logos, headshots, and other visual assets.
• Develop custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript solutions and assist with front-end and back-end web development tasks.
• Provide creative direction, technical insight, and recommendations related to graphic design, photography, and web development.
• Manage and maintain a digital archive of headshots, logos, photographs, graphics, and other visual assets.

Photography Equipment

Own and maintain professional photography equipment, including multiple camera bodies, professional lenses, and off-camera lighting equipment, enabling me to independently handle professional headshot, portrait, and event photography assignments.
